We have EqualLogic ps6100E. Tried configuring dedicated managment network. Configure and Enable 5 ethernet port for managment network. Connected to this port network cable - managment network worked. After that decided to revert it back, but did it wrong and turned off 5 port via the Web GUI - managment network lost. How to enable this port through CLI GUI? Unfortunately, I do not have a document CLI Reference for EqualLogic storage and I do not know all the comands. Please help.

I have an Equalogic PS6000, with 2 hard disks mark as History-of-failures.
what does this mean?, Can I remove this error or I have change the HD obligatory?
And, the equalogic, have a Storage Array Firmware V 5.2.5 (R264411) and We want to upgrade to v 9.1.1, is that posible?, dell's site sais me that I am unathorized for download this firmware. why?

ehcmcli v1.5.0 - only ONE target can't log in - 10 others worked fine!
Hello:
I have a number of targets to connect to a new Oracle Linux 7 server. I am using HIT 1.5.0 as I am still running firmware 8.1.6.
I allowed access via my iscsi initiator name to all of my devices. I did:
# eqlconfig
# eqltune
# iscsiadm -m discoverydb -p 192.168.100.2:3260 -t st -o new delete -D
This discovered all of my devices. I then did this for each of the discovered devices:
# ehcmcli login --target <target> --login-at-boot
ONE of them says:
Could not login to target iqn.2001-05.com.equallogic:4-52aed6-732c89c8f-03a001822554fe32-mergearchive on any interface
How can I debug this one device? Is there a "verbose" setting or something to help me understand what is going wrong?

PS6100 iSCSI network with Dell switch S4048 not working
Hi all
I am currently replacing some of cisco gigabit switch with Dell s4048 switches. I have two PS6100 series equallogic with gigabit interface as I am replacing cisco switch even current equallogic have gigabit port I am planning to connect with Dell 10GB switch but when I connect equallogic to dell switch it did not work but the same network cable, if I move to cisco switch than it works fine. below are the detail of dell switches. My question here is do I need to do any special configuration to make dell equallogic and dell S4048 work together
> there are two switches and configured with stack. out of 8 equallogic ports from each controller two ports goes to one switches.
> Untaged VLAN is configured to each port
>Flowcontrol rx on tx off
>Spanning-tree rstp edge-port
>MTU: 9216

Authentication integration with Active Directory (PS6610 - PS6210X)

I need activated integration with Active Directory but don't want use SSO.
When I tested the integration all tests is ok and is asked me for add PS Group on domain(SSO).
One button for skip is present .
If this option is selected the PS Group don't added into domain but the authentication is working?

big data lose from EQL PS 6000
hai all,
i get warning start from last month that controller battery status error (battery has insufficient charge to survive a 72hour power outage).
and today our electric for building had down for 1 hour, bad news is my storage get down before we knew it. after electric was back and storage are up again. i found my file in drive are missing (volume are still in eql and can be access) .
i have some volumes inside this eql, some files are miss from the volume and some still.
last log are : - control of module slot 0 is not installed
- control module slot 1 : battery status missing, nvram battery good.
is the missing battere make this file missing? is there any command to check this data. raid are create in raid 50.
every help and comment are appreciated.

Battery failed on PS6100 controller
Hi,
I have a 'battery failed' error in the secondary controller of a PS6100 that's out of warranty. In the event log you can see a more detailed error 'C2F power module voltage is too high'. Does anybody knows what this error means? Can the controller still works with this error?

MEM 1.4 on ESXi 6.5
I configured then installed MEM 1.4 on ESXi 6.5 fine (using hardware offload on nics). After using the setup.pl script I noticed iSCSI was not enabled on ESXi and MTU, delayed ack, login timeout were still at default values. I've adjusted this all manually however am wondering if there is anything else I should be aware of post-install on ESXi 6.5? Are there available instructions for ESXi 6.5? I understand it's officially supported but the MEM 1.4 documentation makes no reference to it.

100% of space used email alert?
Hi,
We're seeing it where 100% of the space is used on a fixed volume, (or perhaps was at some point). The data has since been deleted at the OS level but we still get these alerts, because the blocks are still in use from what I read on this forum.
How do people deal with these alerts? Can you turn off (or raise to 100% threshold) these alerts for just one particular volume? It seems a bit of overkill to turn it off for the whole group.
I suppose the only other alternative is to migrate the data to a new volume at the OS level?

HIT and VSM for Vmware
Where can I find Vasa Provider for equalogik PS series for VMware 6-6.5 (HIT Vmware).
At http://eqlsupport.dell.com I see HIT/VMware Version 3.1.2 for vCenter 4.1 and 5.And VSM/VMware® Version 4.6.0 doesn't work with vCenter 6.5.

Ping loss & disconnection when I try to access my EQL PS6100
Hello guys,
I encounter an issue when I try to access the Group Manager web interface.
1st step : i do a ping -t on the IP interface, i first connect to the eth interface
2nd step : i'm connected to the MGMT interface with serial connection
3nd step : i try to access to the web interface : the ping is not working for a while
4nd step : i try to access to the FTP in order to put the new firmware for upgrade : it does not work too
5nd step : after waiting a couple of minutes, the ping is now OK, and I can restart those steps
Please note that the serial interface is working flawlessly while trying to access to the EQL PS via ethernet.
Do you have any clue ? Does this comes from a special security system embedded in the PS Array ?
